Greg Fox comes to Alta Oakridge after serving as an Executive Director with Capital Senior Living, Sunrise Senior Living and Southern Assisted Living. In years prior, he worked with a management team in an independent living community in Dallas, Texas providing marketing supervision. As an Executive Director he prioritized building a strong sense of community, team training and empowerment, clarity of mission and authentic relationships. He enjoys teaching adult Sunday school at his church, hiking, reading political biographies and historical non-fiction. His educational background includes a B.A. in Political Science and a Masters of Theology. Greg enjoys time with his wife of 16 years, Missy, and their four children.

Eric grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a B.S. in Economics. He received the Army Airborne School’s Silver Wings and the Navy / Marine Corps Parachutist Golden Wings. Eric was also an award-winning Greek student while completing a Master of Divinity degree at seminary. After graduation, Eric served on the nuclear submarine U.S.S. Batfish, stationed in Charleston, South Carolina. Later he served Frito Lay as supervisor of the largest salty-snack food manufacturing facility in the world, worked as a finance manager, started his own business, and taught middle school and high school math. Eric met his wife Laura on a blind date while in the Navy, but spent a few years realizing that he needed to marry her. They have now been married nearly 17 years and have two wonderful daughters of whom they are very proud.

Executive Chef Clarence Johnson is from Chicago, Illinois. He graduated with honors from one of the best culinary institutions in the country, the Cooking & Hospitality Institute of Chicago. Clarence served our country for almost a decade in the United States Navy, receiving many commendations that include both the Good Conduct Award and Honorable Discharge. Clarence has been happily married for fourteen years and has four children, ages 11, 10, and twin 9 year olds. He loves to travel, meet new people, spend time with his family, serve in his church, create exquisite meals and train others to do so as well.

Rich has spent much of his life taking things apart just to see what was inside, and has ended up in the right place as our Director of Maintenance. He comes to Alta Oakridge with a background in electronics and engineering, where he most recently managed the product development lab for a contract manufacturing company. He also has experience in remodeling, working on residential and retail properties and he has rehabbed several homes in the local area. Rich served in the Navy and traveled to many countries in Asia and the Middle East. In his spare time, he enjoys home improvement, reading, following the stock market and world events, watching hockey (go Canes!) and spending time with his beautiful wife Suzanne.

Jill Rodriguez, a University of Miami graduate, is a professional singer, performer and voice teacher. She has worked with young and old alike and for the past twenty years has led choirs and ensembles, directed musicals, counseled, directed multi-media ministries, taught and been actively involved in all aspects of her community. She is excited about her new role as Activities Director for Alta Oakridge and is looking forward to a one-on-one relationship with each resident. Jill lives in Wake Forest with her three children and is very excited about her upcoming marriage.
